After watching last nights shambolic effort by England, I have to say I thought Wayne Rooney just wasn't the player he once was. Yes he scored the penalty, but other then that he seemed listless, it seemed like everything was too much effort for him and to me, he just isn't up to it anymore.
Yes, he was good in him time - but is it time up for him now.
Thoughts guys!

He looked tired. He did ok in the other games, but at his age he might find it harder to play a lot of games in a short space of time. Hodgson hung him out to dry by not subbing him 30 minutes earlier, which would have taken any focus away from him.

I think you're right. He's the highest paid footballer at Man United can you believe that?

I thought about him coming here but not after that Iceland game. His testimonial is coming at the right time and I think England needed a hero several years back and he was hyped up a bit and put in all the adverts but I can see all that stopping now.

It is if he plays like he did against Iceland but I'd still have him back for a season or two.
