At Everton between 2017 - 2019
Boris Mathis penned a two-year contract with Everton in July 2017, after leaving Ligue 1 outfit Metz as a free agent.
The French striker, who is known for his pace and technical ability, will link up with the reigning Premier League 2 champions in 2017/18.
A product of Lyon’s academy, Mathis joined Metz in 2015 and made his professional debut for Les Grenats in April 2017 and made one more first-team appearance before the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
On 29th January 2018, Boris joined Northampton Town on loan until the end of the season.
In 2018-19 the under 23 team went on to win both the Premier League 2 league title and the Premier League Cup.
On 7th June 2019, Everton announced that he had been released and no new contract offered.
