  • Birthplace: Ijui

  • Nationality: Brazilian

At Everton between 2015 - 2016

Felipe Mattioni Rohde penned a short-term deal with Everton in October 2015.

The 27-year-old was without a club after leaving La Liga side Espanyol at the end of the 2014/15 campaign, having spent five years with the Barcelona-based side.

Beginning his career with Grêmio back in his homeland of Brazil, the full-back made his debut against Clube Náutico Capibaribe.

In January 2009, Mattioni joined AC Milan on loan for the rest of the season and was part of the famous Milan team that included names such as Beckham, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Silva, Shevchenko, Seedorf, to name a few (see pic below) however injuries played their part and appearances were limited.

After Milan did not exercise their option of a permanent move, Mattioni moved to RCD Mallorca, again on loan, where he competed for the right-back berth. He scored a stunning volley from 30 yards in Mallorca’s 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid.

Severe financial constraints cost him a permanent move to Mallorca however he stayed in La Liga after joining fellow Spanish outfit Espanyol. But cruciate ligament injuries to successive knees ruled him out for much of his time at the club.

Out of contract, he was invited to train with the Blues, and signed a deal until the end of the 2015-16 season, before joining Doncaster Rovers on loan.

It was announced on 10th June 2016 that he was to be released by the club.
