but sometimes we turn these teams over. A guess this is in the past Moyes area. I expect they'll tear us apart.

Boss Out To Stifle GunnersKoeman says Blues must remain compact against high-flying ArsenalRonald Koeman has emphasised the importance of staying compact as a team when Everton face Arsenal on Tuesday evening. The manager is aware the Gunners will operate in a different style to that of the Blues’ previous opponents, Watford. Arsenal head to Goodison Park sitting in second place in the Premier League table, having won three in a row in the competition. Everton could potentially move back up to seventh position with a victory, having slipped to ninth following the 3-2 defeat at Vicarage Road on Saturday. “Arsenal is different to Watford,” Koeman, who has won three of his five games against the Gunners during his time in England, explained. “They play differently and have world-class players. We know what we need to do. If we keep a compact team, we can make it difficult. “This Arsenal team is better than it was. I had the experience with Southampton of beating Arsenal several times but I think this Arsenal team has more balance between defending and attacking.” Romelu Lukaku hit the target twice against the Hornets on Saturday but Koeman has reiterated the importance of sharing goals around the team. He added: “It’s good for [Lukaku’s] confidence but we need more from our offensive players. Before last Saturday, [Seamus] Coleman had scored a goal and [Leighton] Baines had scored a penalty but they are defenders. “I’m very happy to have defenders who score goals but we need more productivity out of the midfield and out of the rest of the strikers. “That’s one of the problems we have. It’s not just about defending set-plays or being more aggressive. Our quality on the ball is what we need to improve.”

Ronald Koeman has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday evening’s Premier League fixture with Arsenal. Everton will face the Gunners at Goodison Park with the same squad that was available for selection against Watford at the weekend. The only definite absentees are Muhamed Besic and Yannick Bolasie who are both ruled out with cruciate knee ligament injuries. Matthew Pennington is back in training but Koeman revealed last week that the young central defender will work with the Under-23s squad initially as he aims to regain his fitness following four months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. “We don’t have any injuries compared to last Saturday,” Koeman told the media at his pre-match press conference on Monday afternoon.
