Everton vs ArsenalRonald Koeman has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday evening’s Premier League fixture with Arsenal.
Everton will face the Gunners at Goodison Park with the same squad that was available for selection against Watford at the weekend.
The only definite absentees are Muhamed Besic and Yannick Bolasie, who are both ruled out with cruciate knee ligament injuries.
Matthew Pennington is back in training but Koeman revealed last week that the young central defender will work with the Under-23s squad initially as he aims to regain his fitness following four months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
FormEverton are unbeaten at Goodison Park in the Premier League this season but Ronald Koeman has told his players they must improve after a run of just one win in their last 10 league games.
The Toffees have lost five and drawn four since beating Middlesbrough in mid-September, with the only victory since then coming against West Ham United at Goodison at the end of October.
Arsenal are unbeaten in the league since losing to Liverpool on the opening weekend and have also won three on the spin in the competition - beating Bournemouth (3-1), West Ham United (5-1) and Stoke City (3-1).
Last Meeting Everton 0-2 Arsenal - 19 March, 2016
The Blues will be out for revenge after first-half goals from Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi gave Arsenal victory at Goodison back in March.
Welbeck opened the scoring on seven minutes by rounding Joel Robles and slotting home after being put through by Alexis Sanchez.
Arsenal academy product Iwobi, making his first Premier League start, then capped the occasion by holding off the threat of Ramiro Funes Mori to complete the scoring three minutes before the break.
One To Watch - Alexis SanchezMore a man of the moment. The Chilean has been a menace to Premier League sides up and down the country ever since completing a £30million move from Barcelona to North London in July 2014 and has been in imperious form so far in 2016/17.
The 27-year-old forward has 13 goals to his name for the campaign and five in his last four appearances thanks to a stunning hat-trick in Arsenal’s 5-1 win over West Ham United at the start of the month and a brace against Bournemouth at the end of November.
Yet to score against the Toffees in four attempts, Maarten Stekelenburg and Co will be hoping to shut out the two-time Copa America winner once again on Tuesday.
Man In The Middle - Mark Clattenburg
Taking charge of Tuesday evening’s match is 41-year-old Durham-based official Mark Clattenburg.
He is yet to oversee an Everton match so far this season, with his last match featuring the Blues coincidentally being Arsenal’s 2-0 victory at Goodison Park last season.
In May, Clattenburg was the man in the middle for the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. He was also appointed as the referee for the final of the European Championships in July, contested between Portugal and France.
