Neil Lennon says the "furore" surrounding Celtic's 1-0 loss to Lincoln Red Imps has been over the top, insisting the Scottish champions will still go through.
The Scottish champions went down in Brendan Rodgers' first match in charge with many believing the result to be the worst in the club's European history.
Red Imps captain Roy Chipolina described the victory as the biggest shock the game on this continent has seen but Lennon says the reaction has been too much.
Hibernian boss Lennon, who guided Celtic to the last 16 of Europe's top club competition, was asked for his thoughts on the score, saying: "Well I think the furore over it is way over the top.
"These results can happen, it is so early. It's only Brendan's first game in charge; he's still getting to know the players.
I didn't see the game but the pitch was a shocker, conditions were difficult and a 1-0 deficit, Celtic will turn that around. I expect them to go through and reach the next round."

Don't we have a Celtic fan who gets on here? His name is @greenbrigadeuc if it's who you're thinking of.
