Claudia Walker and Millie Turner have been called up into the England U-23 squad for the Nordic Tournament. The Everton duo have been in fine form this season helping Andy Spence’s side to start the campaign unbeaten. Turner has been a vital part of the defence that has conceded the least goals in the division whilst Walker has contributed a goal and an assist in the opening six games. Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah and Ellie Stewart were also called up to the squad but have withdrawn due to injury. The tournament matches will now be played at St George’s Park, having been moved from Lilleshall, with England’s first game against Norway on Thursday 2 June (5pm KO). They will then play Sweden on Saturday 4 June before their final game of the tournament against the USA on Tuesday 7 June.
