Brendan Galloway has his sights set on picking up a first cap for England Under-21s on Saturday evening. The Young Lions face Switzerland in a Euro qualifier in Thun at 6pm, as they look to continue their strong start to the campaign in Group 9. Galloway was called up to a previous squad in August, but was forced to withdraw due to injury. Now, with 18 caps across the Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels to his name already, the left-footed defender is hoping to finally make his debut for Gareth Southgate’s side. “I’m fit now, looking forward to some good sessions and hoping to make my debut,” he told evertontv. “We’ve played three games so far - winning two and drawing one - and we're all ready to keep that winning mentality going to keep on top of the group. That’s the aim. “It’s always a good moment to play for your country, so hopefully I can make my debut and there will be many more games to come."
