Three Everton youngsters were involved as England Under-18s twice came from behind to secure a 3-2 friendly win over Austria in Vienna. Midfield duo Tom Davies and Nathan Holland started the game on Wednesday evening, while Antony Evans replaced Blues teammate Holland on 74 minutes. Former Toffees Academy coach Neil Dewsnip watched his side fall behind on 16 minutes, but then level within 60 seconds of the setback. Austria went ahead again immediately after the half-time interval, before the Young Lions struck twice to secure an impressive victory. Davies, Holland and Evans will now head back to England’s St. George’s Park to prepare to face Republic of Ireland in a behind-closed-doors match at the national football centre on Sunday.
