One to watch: Anthony Martial
One of the most highly-rated young players in Europe, Anthony Martial completed a £36 million move to Manchester United in the summer, making him the world’s most expensive teenager.
The striker began his career in the junior ranks of CO Les Ulis, where Thierry Henry and former Old Trafford man Patrice Evra started their illustrious careers, before moving to Lyon at the age of 14.
Martial broke into the first team in 2012/13 but only made four appearances for the French side before moving to Monaco.
The 19-year-old weighed in with nine goals during the 2014/15 season, before moving to England where he has made a dream start to life at Manchester United.
The Frenchman marked his debut in sensational fashion, netting his maiden strike against Liverpool, a brace against Southampton and a Capital One Cup strike in the victory over Ipswich Town.
