I thought we failed to mark throughout the 90 minutes, gave the ball away cheaply, and looked like we'd just played a mid week game.
Not at all impressed.
Graeme Jones looked happy, which suggests to me once again that they have a Wigan mentality, as for Wigan, it is probably a great result, but I expect Everton to be beating Spurs. It's different when Spurs are at the top of their game, but they were rubbish today, and there for the taking.

Very true mate , lukaku deserved to be subbed as he cant hold the ball up & gives it away too easily , needs to work on his movement alot more because he is most dangerous running at defences rather than just standing in front of a defender. Not the best performance today but considering our record there , a point wasnt too bad but with a bit more attacking intelligence we might have took the 3 points.

Roberto Martinez hailed Everton’s resolute defensive display as the Blues earned a point against Tottenham Hotspur. In particular, Martinez praised goalkeeper Tim Howard and defender John Stones. Stones was playing for the first time since a transfer request was rejected and chairman Bill Kenwright issued a statement saying he was not for sale. Everton fans sung Stones’ name from the first minute during Saturday’s goalless draw. Martinez said: “The fans understand that John has been put in an incredible position but what John has done is never let the team or the football club down. He has always played with incredible discipline and focus. “I’ve seen John Stones develop so much in the last three or four weeks and I’m proud of him. I know that the fans will understand that.” Howard made a string of first-half saves and won the man of the match award. “I thought Tim Howard was immense, not just with the actions he had but the way he was talking and creating really good communication with his centre-halves and the back four,” added Martinez. “I thought it was a strong display from a defensive point of view. “Tim is a leader and an incredible influence in the dressing room. On the pitch, he is enjoying his football and is in a very good moment.” “I was very satisfied because in this performance we had to show a lot of character and personality. Without going into any technical or tactical aspect, we had to make sure we showed good concentration. “When we were on the ball we weren’t as sharp as we normally are. We used a lot of energy on Wednesday [at Barnsley] when we came back from behind twice. There was a difference in energy levels between the two sides.”
