Derek Temple will be awarded his place on the official Everton Wall of Fame this Saturday. The former forward was named the latest Everton Giant in May of this year, joining the likes of 'Dixie' Dean, Neville Southall, Kevin Ratcliffe and Alex Young to name but a few. And now the man who broke Sheffield Wednesday hearts in the 1966 FA Cup final is the latest legend to be recognised in the historical tribute along Goodison Road. From his 275 appearances for the Toffees – a total which could have been considerably higher if not for a spell of National Service - Temple netted 83 goals. And to help celebrate the Club's retro matchday activities, Temple will be in attendance alongside several fellow former players from different eras. A former players' parade is planned in the Park End, where the Fan Zone will host a sixties tribute band, giveaways and classic highlights. Click here for more details about Saturday's festivities, or here to book your tickets. Don’t miss out - seats are now on sale for Saturday’s 3pm kick-off. Tickets start from £32 for adults and only £16 for Under-16s. Buying tickets is easy. Simply visit the Park End or Goodison Road box office or you can also pick up tickets in the city centre from either Everton Two or the Ticket Quarter in Queen Square. Alternatively, call 0871 663 1878 or buy online here . Source: Everton
