Everton will play Leeds United in a pre-season friendly at Elland Road.
The Blues will visit the Championship outfit on Saturday 1 August, kicking off at 3pm. Now managed by former Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler, Leeds finished 15th in the second tier last season. The fixture will give Ross Barkley the opportunity to return to a club where he spent a period of time on loan in 2013. The two teams last met in a competitive fixture in September 2012 when Leeds prevailed 2-1 in a League Cup tie. The last time Everton played at Elland Road in the Premier League was way back in April 2004 when the home side needed a James Milner equaliser to salvage a point after Wayne Rooney had given the Toffees a first-half lead. It is Everton's third confirmed pre-season fixture, in addition to the two matches against Stoke City (Wednesday 15 July) and Arsenal or a Singapore Select XI (Saturday 18 July) in the Barclays Asia Trophy. Tickets news for the Leeds United friendly will be announced once details of an away allocation has been confirmed. Fixture list : loveevertonforum.com/page/everton-fixtures2016

We also play The New Saints the following day, so can we presume that New Saints will just be a case of sending the kids down to Wales, or will it be a bit of both for each match? Dundee on July 28th also. loveevertonforum.com/page/everton-pre-season-3

I hope we get at least 1 glamour match against a top continental team. No offense but these are hardly mouth watering fixtures.
