The south coast side, who are preparing for their first season in the Premier League, have struck a deal to take the Ghanaian for the whole season. Atsu went on loan to Everton last term but struggled to make much of an impact under Roberto Martinez... despite being named the best player in February's Africa Cup of Nations. The 23-year-old is closing in on 40 caps for his country and will be keen to prove himself to Jose Mourinho with a more consistent campaigbn for the Cherries. Chelsea paid Porto a reported fee of £3.5million for Atsu. Atsu will be looking to show his class next term Bournemouth Chief Executive Neill Blake says signing Atsu is a "huge coup" for the Cherries. “We have been working hard to bolster our playing squad since the end of the season, and we are delighted to secure the signing of Christian on a season-long loan, subject to Premier League approval, from Chelsea,” Blake told Bournemouth's official website. “His signature is one that was highly sought after, having impressed in the Premier League on loan at Everton and on the international stage with Ghana, and it is a huge coup to us as a club that he was so keen to come here.” Mirror
