Everton's young midfield pair George Green and Francisco Junior have been loaned to Tranmere Rovers and Port Vale respectively. Junior, 23, has previously spent time on loan in Norway with Stromsgodset and Holland with Vitesse Arnhem, and will now feature in League One for the rest of the campaign. Vale are currently in 15th place, eight points off the play-off places and six off the drop zone. Managed by former Watford, Sheffield United and Coventry City centre back Rob Page, the Potteries-based side are in indifferent form with just the one win in their last five games. Junior could make his Vale debut at relegation-threatened Leyton Orient on Saturday. Meanwhile Green, 19, has joined League Two Tranmere, also until the end of the season. Rovers currently sit one place outside the relegation zone, just one point above Cheltenham. Micky Adams' are on a tough run of form, with seven defeats from their last seven games, and have not won since beating promotion-chasing Shrewsbury Town back on 21 February. Green could make his debut in Saturday’s encounter with AFC Wimbledon at Prenton Park. Fellow Under-21s regular Gethin Jones joined Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday.
