Everton's players departed for Switzerland on Wednesday morning ahead of the Europa League last-32 meeting with BSC Young Boys - but Leighton Baines and Aiden McGeady have remained on Merseyside. Roberto Martinez and his squad jetted out of Liverpool John Lennon airport at around 10am, touching down around two hours later in Bern. Among the travelling party were youngsters Tyias Browning, Russell Griffiths, Luke Garbutt and Courtney Duffus, while Christian Atsu is also in the group following his return from the Africa Cup of Nations. Baines and McGeady have both sat out the Blues' last two matches and will miss the game in Switzerland, alongside Leon Osman, Steven Pienaar and Arouna Kone who are also absent after featuring in Wednesday's Under-21 fixture at Manchester United. Loanee Aaron Lennon is ineligible for the tie after appearing for Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the competition. Everton will train on the artificial surface at the Stade de Suisse this afternoon, with Martinez scheduled to speak to the media at the stadium as well. Look out for more team news and a video of the manager's press conference on evertonfc.com later. Travelling squad: Howard, Robles, Griffiths, Alcaraz, Browning, C.Duffus, Coleman, Gibson, Jagielka, Stones, Lukaku, Naismith, Oviedo, Mirallas, McCarthy, Garbutt, Barkley, Besic, Barry, Atsu.
