Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has attracted interest from Everton for a proposed season-long loan move. The 23-year old England international made 22 appearances for Manchester United last season, but is considering a temporary move away from the Premier League winners as first-team football has not been promised to him for the 2013/14 league campaign. While new Manchester United manager David Moyes has a penchant for utilising young English squad players, Cleverley is still said to be keen on getting more regular action elsewhere. The midfielder barely featured during the tail-end of last season, amassing approximately 130 minutes of playing time in United’s last 10 Premier League games - an average of 13 minutes-per-game. Everton manager Roberto Martinez, formerly of Wigan Athetlic, has long-admired Cleverley ever since the 23-year old joined Wigan on loan for the 2010/11 season. He is keen to renew acquantances and wants the highly-rated midfielder playing for him again next season. With such a good relationship between Everton and Manchester United, the proposed deal does have a possibility of happening. Cleverley would relish the opportunity to get a run of games under his belt to force his way back into the England setup. With one eye on the 2014 World Cup at the end of next season, he certainly has a decision to make - whether he will fight for his place at United, or find guaranteed playing-time elsewhere.

He blows hot and cold as far as I have seen so not that excited. We should test Moyesies love for us and ask for Wayne on loan instead.
