Louis van Gaal has been charged by the Football Association for his comments about the referee Chris Foy after Manchester United’s goalless draw at Cambridge United in the FA Cup fourth round. His side won the replay 3-0 but the Dutchman was unhappy about events at the Abbey Stadium, saying: “Every aspect of a match is against us. We have to come here, the pitch isn’t so good, that can influence that you can play in another style. The opponents always give a lot more than they normally give and defending is always easier than attacking. Then you have seen the referee – it’s always the same. Everywhere I have coached these games, and I have coached them with other clubs, it’s always the same.” He refused to elaborate on what specific aspects of Foy’s performance displeased him, saying: “I cannot give my opinion.” The FA statement said: “Louis van Gaal has been charged by the FA for media comments he made after Manchester United’s FA Cup fourth round match against Cambridge United on Friday 23 January 2015. It is alleged that the Manchester United manager’s comments allege and/or imply bias on the part of the match referee and/or bring the game into disrepute. He has until 6pm on Monday 9 February 2015 to respond to the charge.” Source: Guardian

Louis van Gaal has been charged by the Football Association for his Hairstyle and use of Haircolour which are said to bring the game into disrepute. He has until 6pm on Monday 9 February 2015 to respond to the charge.”
Seriously though, how can saying "...Then you have seen the referee – it’s always the same. Everywhere I have coached these games, and I have coached them with other clubs, it’s always the same.” and “I cannot give my opinion.” be taken as anything other than a recognition that when there's a gulf of difference between opponants, everybody, players and officials, behaves differently. He controlled his temper. The mildest implied criticism I've any memory of.....nice hefty fine to finance some FA junket to somewhere sunny and warm coming up or I'm a Dutchman.
