Manchester United’s Ángel Di María and his family were the victims of an attempted burglary at his home hours after the Argentina international played in the 3-1 victory over Leicester. According to The Sun, Di María was eating dinnner at his house in Cheshire with his wife and young daughter when three men used scaffolding poles to smash patio doors. They fled empty-handed when an alarm went off but the player who joined United for a British record transfer fee of £59.7m was said to have been shaken by the incident.
