Samuel Eto'o has been pictured wearing a Sampdoria polo shirt after completing his medical with the Italian club at the Villa Stuart sport clinic in Rome. The outgoing Everton striker is expected to be presented before the Genoa-based club's fans ahead of their Serie A match at home to Palermo tomorrow. Reports in Italy suggest that the 33-year-old could be officially paraded as a Sampdoria player on Tuesday. Eto'o has scored four goals in 20 appearances, including 12 starts, for the Blues this season.

What an unusual situation.
Last January we let Jelavic go and within weeks Lukaku was injured.
Are we going to fight to avoid a relegation battle with one less Striker, or is one on his way?

I don't see how he had any effect on our season so if he is off the wages then so be it, but are we just selling again? We are quickly approaching the last week of the window and not even a genuine mention from our club about the need for players.

Wasted at Everton. Who knows whether he'd have been a good signing as he was played out of position so many times. Is Roberto David Moyes in disguise?
