Leicester City are close to finalising the signing of Croatia striker Andrej Kramaric for a club-record fee.The deal, thought to be in excess of £9m, is set to go through subject to the 23-year-old gaining a work permit. Chelsea were also interested in Kramaric, who has scored 28 goals in 24 appearances for Croatian club FC Rijeka and the national team this season. Premier League bottom club Leicester are not commenting but a statement on Rijeka's website says a move is close. Kramaric played for Dinamo Zagreb between 2009 and 2013, before moving to FC Rijeka. The Foxes, who have 14 points from 20 games, paid £8m in July 2014 for former Brighton striker Leonardo Ulloa to set their current record transfer fee. By Ben Smith / BBC Sport
