Swansea City will appeal against the red card shown to Wayne Routledge for reacting to what manager Garry Monk says was a "leg-breaker" tackle.
Four minutes from the end of a thrilling 1-1 draw at Queens Park Rangers, Routledge was sent off for his reaction to a challenge by Karl Henry.
"It's a leg breaker," Monk said.
"We'll be appealing for sure. My player goes from nearly having his leg broken to getting sent off, I don't see how that can happen."
QPR midfielder Henry's challenge went unpunished by referee Anthony Taylor, who sent off Routledge.
Monk baffled by referee decisions
Swansea substitute Wilfried Bony went on to score an equaliser in time added on, cancelling out Leroy Fer's first-half strike.
But despite rescuing a point, Monk was still deeply unhappy at what had taken place on the pitch after seeing his side reduced to 10 men for the second game in succession following Jonjo Shelvey's dismissal at Liverpool which resulted in a four game ban.
"I'm losing a bit of faith. It's hard for us to keep faith when we continually have decisions like this, big moments within games," said Monk.
"That sounds like me moaning, I'm not at all. I'm just telling you the facts.
"I hope the red card gets rescinded because that will 100% be the right thing to happen.
"I think everyone knew in the stadium apart from the official and then the double whammy of our player getting sent off for apparently kicking out.
"He doesn't kick out at all. I just hope justice is done not just for us but for football in itself."
Goalscorer Bony will soon depart for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ivory Coast striker has been linked with a bid from rival Premier League clubs including Manchester City, but Monk again dismissed reports linking the 26-year-old with a move away from the Liberty Stadium.
"It's speculation, there's nothing concrete," Monk added.
"I think you can see today from when Wilfried came on, he showed his focus for our club and respect to the players and the staff. That was in his performance.
"To say his mind is elsewhere, is clearly not true, he's actually very focused on doing well for Swansea."
