LAST MEETINGEverton 2-1 West Ham United, Saturday 22 November 2014
Leon Osman struck the winner on his 400th Everton appearance as the Blues extended their unbeaten run against West Ham United to 14 games.
The scoring was opened after Ross Barkley's shot was blocked by Winston Reid, and Lukaku was perfectly placed to sweep up possession and lash past Adrian from close range on 26 minutes.
The visitors levelled when substitute Mauro Zarate, who had only been on the pitch for four minutes, saw an attempted one-two bounce back into his path off the heel of Tony Hibbert, then his low shot from 18 yards slipped through the legs of Jagielka and looped up off the skipper's heel and over the stranded Tim Howard.
But, not since April 2007 had the Hammers been able to break the Toffees, and Osman - boosted by a new one-and-a-half year deal earlier in the month - turned in 16 minutes from time to ensure that trend continued.
ONE TO WATCH: ANDY CARROLLAfter struggling with a succession of injuries following a £15 million move from Liverpool in June 2013, the Gateshead-born striker has now established himself as a key part of Sam Allardyce's side.
And, with in-form goalscorer Sakho now absent as he competes in the African Cup of Nations, the England international will become the focal point of the Irons' attack.
The 25-year-old has notched three goals in 10 Premier League appearances so far this campaign.
