Question of the day ....... How many teams in the last decade have been relegated since winning either the FA Cup or League cup? Wigan and Portsmouth were relegated after winning the Facup. There were more for the other one but I'll let other members join in. Birmingham and Boro ? I'll give you Middlesbrough although it was 2004. Even Leicester and Blackburn have both won it and both gone down so could it be the extra games at an important part of the season that causes teams problems?

Bottom Line: A win will do less harm than good.
On the TV money thing, it does lessen as you go down the table but it's still bloody generous right to the bottom, from £97.5m to £61m for last season.

We can't afford to be going down then, that's for sure. The only thing I don't like about the extra money is that much of it is going to make the rich even richer, and I'd like to see a huge reduction in the way players are creaming the game. First and foremost, we have to beat West Ham in the cup, and that won't be easy, although we have a good record against them.
