What ever happened to that site? I remember it being very busy but It's dead now. To be honest, it began to become full of idiots to the point where you couldn't say anything without someone calling you out or ruining the thread with asinine comments.

Are we advertising rival websites now?  Seriously though, I think their site was hacked, and Grandoldteam got lucky (if you can call it lucky) and landed most of their members. Some of their lads started the Everton forum, and what ever else. It probably saved Toffeetalk as that place was totally dead at one point so I guess a little bit of good came from it all in that sense. I registered there once, ( at BK ) but didn't think much of the place. I think the influx has actually ruined Grandoldteam, as if you read it now it's full of kids and crazy text-tap humour, where it used to be a more homely place. Going back 10 years when we used to rum gaming websites, we were hacked twice, so they have my full sympathy as it's not nice, and as far as I'm concerned hackers should do prison time. |
