Neil Warnock enjoys his first win since being reinstalled as Eagles boss thanks to goals from Mile Jedinak, Frazier Campbell and Yannick Bolasie.
It looked like it would be a difficult afternoon for Palace when Romelu Lukaku put Everton ahead early on but they responded brilliantly, taking advantage of the Toffees' continental hangover to dominate the midfield battle. Leighton Baines' late spot kick set up a frantic finale but Palace held on to secure their first league victory of the season, lifting them off the foot of the table.
90' + 6' Everton bombard the Palace box with a series of crosses but Dann and Delaney stand firm again to head clear. The referee looks at his watch and blows the final whistle!
90' + 4' WHAT A SAVE FROM SPERONI! The Argentine has produced many special stops for the Eagles in the past and he makes an excellent reflex save here to deny Dann turning Lukaku's dangerous low cross into his own net. Mirallas kicks the post in frustration.

The Republic of Ireland centre-back has been terrific today and it is Palace's strong defensive foundations which look set to earn Neil Warnock his first win in his second spell in charge of the Eagles.

However, Delaney reads the danger and produces a brilliant header to prevent Speroni from being forced into a save.
71' It looked like being a long afternoon for Crystal Palace when they went behind after just nine minutes but Neil Warnock's side have responded brilliantly and deserve their lead. Fingers may be pointed at Howard after his two errors but Everton simply have not been incisive enough in the final third and have looked lacklustre in midfield.

Everton have been second-best in midfield since going ahead and Osman has his pocket picked by Puncheon all too easily. The former Southampton winger coolly picks out Bolasie on the left corner of the box and the Democratic Republic of Congo man makes no mistake, steering his effort into the bottom corner.
67' STAT: Palace are without a league win in seven matches (D4, L3) dating back to last season, conceding 15 goals in the process.
65' Stones has struggled against Bolasie today and he has been withdrawn from the action, with McCarthy now filling in at right-back. Christian Atsu has also made way as Roberto Martinez throws on Kevin Mirallas and Steven Naismith in search of the equaliser.

62' Bolasie has been excellent for Palace on the counter and he wins another corner after getting in behind Stones again. Everton have really missed the impact of Coleman down the right today, in both an attacking and defensive sense.
61' Martinez is preparing both Mirallas and Naismith on the sidelines as his side desperately search for the equaliser. Eto'o looks to provide just that with his effort from outside the box, but Delaney is there to produce an important block.
59' EVERTON GO CLOSE! Atsu produces a tidy reverse pass to release Osman down the right. However, the veteran midfielder cannot pick out a blue shirt in the box as his low cross is diverted behind for a corner. Everton play the corner short, with Atsu bursting his way past Puncheon before picking out Lukaku. However, the Belgian sees his shot well blocked by Kelly before Barry fires over from close range.
57' There is a subdued atmopshere inside Goodison Park now as Palace continue to enjoy possession comfortably inside their own half, while defending excellently under pressure. Roberto Martinez has both Kevin Mirallas and Steven Naismith on the bench and he could be tempted to introduce both players, especially as they scored in this fixture last season.

It's another howler from Howard as he completely misjudges Kelly's cross from the right. Campbell contests the aerial challenge with the American goalkeeper and the ball strikes him on the back of the head before bouncing over the line despite the best efforts of Jagielka to acrobatically clear it. Goodison Park is shell-shocked.
52' Bolasie launches a counter-attack for Palace as he seizes onto Barry's wayward pass before accelerating away from Stones and towards the left corner of the Everton box. The winger attempts to pick out Campbell with a low cross into the area but Distin reads the danger well to make a crucial clearance.
51' CHANCE FOR EVERTON! Eto'o has made a good impression on his first Everton start and he makes a clever run behind the Palace centre-backs to latch onto Stone's perfectly-weighted pass. However, the Cameroon international cannot direct his effort on target as he scuffs a shot wide of the far post.
49' Palace have retreated back into their shell at the beginning of this second half, inviting the Everton pressure onto them. However, they are well organised in defence and do well to prevent Lukaku from cutting inside from the left.
47' Roberto Martinez will be expecting more from his side in this second half though he will be hoping for a similar start to that of the first. Osman combines excellently with Baines down the left which results in a free kick in a promising wide area. However, Baines' delivery fails to beat the man at the front post and Palace clear their lines.

HT: Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace. The teams head into the dressing rooms after an action-packed first half at Goodison Park. Everton's early pressure was rewarded after just nine minutes when Romelu Lukaku coolly converted Leon Osman's pass and it seemed to only be a matter of time before their lead was extended.
However, Neil Warnock's side responded terrifically and a lapse in communication between Tim Howard and John Stones allowed Mile Jedinak to level from the spot after James McArthur was felled by the American goalkeeper.
Everton showed signs of a continental hangover towards the end of the half and they were lucky not to go in behind as the lively Yannick Bolasie saw his strike deflected against the underside of the crossbar. Plenty to ponder for Roberto Martinez at the break.
45' + 1' Everton win a free kick in a dangerous area outside the box as Jedinak clatters into Eto'o. Baines steps up to take the resulting set-piece but the left-footed specialist's effort strikes the top of the Palace wall before going behind for a corner.
44' Atsu has frequently got in behind Ward today and he does so again here to latch onto McCarthy's incise pass. The Chelsea loanee fizzes a low cross into the box but there is no blue shirt gambling in the middle to meet it and Dann hacks it to safety.
43' PALACE HIT THE BAR! Bolasie is starting to grow into this game now and he bursts beyond Stones once again before his dangerous low cross is hacked clear by Barry. The Democratic Republic of Congo winger then lets fly from outside the box but his deflected effort ricochets off the underside of the crossbar, with Campbell unable to turn in the rebound.
41' Bolasie shows his fancy footwork to bamboozle Stones down the left before picking out Ledley inside the Everton box. The former Celtic man shoots on the turn but it is well blocked by Jagielka. There were a few half-hearted Palace appeals for a penalty but that would certainly have been a harsh call.
39' Neil Warnock will be delighted at how his side have fought back into this contest and they have certainly given Roberto Martinez plenty to think about with half time fast approaching. Will we see another goal before the break? At the moment, it is the visitors who look the most likely to adding to their tally.
37' Jedinak, Ledley and McArthur have now got a firm grip on this game and they work in unison to break up the Everton attack before releasing Bolasie out on the left. The tricky winger attempts to pick out Campbell in the box but Stones reads his intentions expertly to make a good challenge.
35' That goal has given Palace a newfound sense of confidence and Puncheon finds space on the edge of the box before seeing his effort well charged down by Distin. Everton then attack down the other end but Palace defend excellently to clear McCarthy's cross from the right.

32' Palace have mounted an excellent response since going behind but Roberto Martinez will be furious with the manner in which his side have conceded the equaliser. There is another stoppage in play here as Campbell goes down clutching his ankle though he soon limps back onto the field after a spot of treatment.

Howard is the culprit as he needlessly brings down McArthur inside the box following a lapse in communication with Stones. Jedinak steps up to take the spot kick and he makes no mistake, smashing it excellently into the top right-hand corner. Howard was never going to stop that one.
28' Everton have gone rather flat after their brilliant start but they spring to life as Barry lifts a pass over the Palace defence for Atsu. The Ghana winger controls it brilliantly before picking out Eto'o, however his shot is straight at Speroni who makes an important stop.
26' Jedinak is certainly capable of scoring from distance though he sees his long-range effort well blocked by Jagielka on this occasion. There is a stoppage in play here as Ward stays on the ground after a heavy challenge from McCarthy. However, he should be alright to continue.
24 'Puncheon shows his clever footwork to evade several blue shirts down the left but he cannot provide the end product to match as he misplaces his pass to Bolasie. Palace have weathered the early storm and this is the best we have seen from Neil Warnock's side so far.
22' The visitors are enjoying a good spell at the moment as they relieve the pressure on Speroni's goal and retain possession inside the Everton half. Kelly advances forward for the first time from right-back but his pass towards Puncheon is excellently intercepted by Barry.
20' Palace enjoy their best moment of the game as Puncheon curls a wonderful pass in behind Distin for Campbell to chase. However, Howard spots the danger early and rushes off his line to make an important clearance.
18' Palace threaten for the first time when Jedinak pumps a free kick into the Everton box. However, Howard comfortably plucks the ball out of the air, with Distin staving off the threat of Delaney.
16' STAT: Everton took 15 points from a possible 30 in games following the Europa League the last time they were in the competition in 2009-10 (W4, D3, L3).
15' Everton are completely dominant at the moment and they are using the full width of the pitch to excellent effect. Roberto Martinez's men are without a win in three home league games but it would be a surprise if they didn't end that run today.
13' Palace have all 11 players camped inside their own half at the moment as they look to weather the Everton storm. Ward concedes a corner after a strong challenge on McCarthy but Lukaku is denied his second goal when his shot is blocked after a clever combination between Baines and Eto'o.
11' Neil Warnock does not look a happy man on the touchline and his gameplan has gone out of the window after just nine minutes at Goodison Park. Palace are sitting back and inviting pressure onto them and you get the feeling that Everton could strike again soon if Palace don't shake things up tactically.

Osman is the architect once again as he feeds a pass through Dann's legs. Lukaku latches onto it and he shows his strength to hold off Delaney before coolly slotting under Speroni.
8 'CHANCE FOR EVERTON! Palace cannot get hold of the ball at the moment and Osman splits open the opposition defence with an incisive pass down the right for Atsu. The Ghana winger slips past Ward excellently before rounding Speroni, however he can only fire into the side netting from a narrow angle.
6' Baines shows his strength to hold off Puncheon before feeding Lukaku inside the box. The Belgian has his back to goal so opts to tee up his strike partner Eto'o who sees his low drive easily held by Speroni.
4' McArthur enjoyed a solid Palace debut against Burnley last weekend and he attempts to pick out Bolasie's clever run infield from the left. However, Howard is out of his goal quickly to avert the danger and smother the ball.
3' Everton, as you would expect, are dominating the possession in the early stages with Palace happy to sit deep and break on the counter. Bolasie and Puncheon caused the Everton full-backs plenty of difficulties in this fixture last season and they will be hoping to use their pace to good effect once again today.
1' The referee blows his whistle and Crystal Palace, in their alternative yellow strip, get the ball rolling. Can the Eagles repeat last season's performance and earn their first league win of the campaign? They instantly pump the ball forward from kick-off but Bolasie cannot find a way past Stones after controlling the ball out of the air expertly.
The teams emerge from the tunnel to a great reception from both sets of supporters. Captains Phil Jagielka and Mile Jedinak begin the handshakes between the respective sides. Today's referee is Michael Oliver.
STAT ATTACK: Everton had equalled a Premier League record by conceding 10 goals in their opening three games though they did keep a clean sheet on their last league outing as they defeated West Brom 2-0. As for Palace, they are one of only four teams - alongside Newcastle, Burnley and Sunderland - yet to register a victory in the league though they have won on three of their five league visits to Goodison Park.
CRYSTAL PALACE TEAM NEWS: Neil Warnock makes three changes to the side which drew 0-0 at home to Burnley last weekend. Martin Kelly has recovered from injury and he regains his place at right-back as Adrian Mariappa drops to the bench. Yannick Bolasie is preferred to Wilfried Zaha out wide while Joe Ledley also comes into the side in place of Dwight Gayle. Marouane Chamakh remains sidelined with a hamstring complaint.
EVERTON TEAM NEWS: Roberto Martinez rotates his side after an impressive display against Wolfsburg on Thursday. Kevin Mirallas and Steven Naismith are handed a rest, with Chelsea loanee Christian Atsu and Samuel Eto'o given their first starts for the club. Seamus Coleman misses out with a head injury, meaning that John Stones starts at right-back with Sylvain Distin recovering from a back problem to partner Phil Jagielka in defence.
Neil Warnock is unbeaten since taking over from Tony Pulis, earning successive draws against Newcastle and Burnley. However, today he comes up against a resilient Roberto Martinez outfit who are eager to kickstart their Premier League season after one win and two draws from their opening four matches.
