On another planet! Redknapp SLAMS top seven clubs over Financial Fair Play regulations QPR manager Harry Redknapp believes the Premier League could get ‘boring’ due to the financial gulf below the top seven clubs. The former Tottenham boss insists heavyweights Manchester City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and Spurs have already bought a place in the Premier League’s top seven this term. Redknapp has also questioned the Financial Fair Play regulations, claiming his side should be able to spend as much as the Red Devils ahead of their clash on Sunday. The 67-year-old tactician spent in excess of £37m on summer recruits, a considerably higher sum than fellow promotion winners Leicester (£11m) and Burnley (£7.5m). But Redknapp considers the top seven clubs to be on ‘another planet’ to the those below them. “To make it 'fair play' we should be able to spend as much as Man United have spent before we play them on Sunday, surely?” Redknapp said. “One team can spend £100m and another can only spend £8-10m. That’s not fair play is it? “It would be fair if each team can spend £30m a season and bring through youngsters. “We have seven teams on a different planet to us. The top seven will almost certainly be the top seven again, it could get boring.”

I'm not sure how we are in that list, when the club Harry manages, QPR, could buy and sell Everton 10 times over.
It's not like he doesn't like to spend a few quid either.

How much did he spend with Spurs?
He has a case with the top clubs, but it's a bit strange to include us in the same bracket. I can see him being misquoted somewhere.

Does anybody really care what that dodgy bastard thinks? His lad is just as bad the fooker never shuts up. Trying to watch the Villa game before he was driving me up the wall.
