Paris Saint Germain's transfer chief has described their hopes of signing Moise Kean on a permanent basis as "complicated".
Kean is spending the season on loan in the French capital and has scored 14 goals in 26 appearances, including three strikes in the Champions League.
Everton refused to agree to an option which would have allowed PSG to buy Kean at the end of his loan for a set fee and are, at this stage, expecting the 20-year-old back at the club to begin pre-season training in July.
Carlo Ancelotti has, however, recently hinted that the Blues would be prepared to listen to offers from PSG but sporting director Leanardo says he does not yet know what Everton's asking price will be
Talking to France Bleu, and as cited by le10sport, the Brazilian is quoted as saying: "Today, knowing a value is difficult.
"The choice was obvious. We made the choice to take a young player, whom we have known for a long time.
"We took it for one year, then we’ll see.
" Everton didn’t want to lose him. He plays very well, he scores. He has an important future.
"But there, we cannot know.
"We could not do otherwise than the loan and I think that today having it available for a year was already very positive. "If we can see the future under certain conditions, we will try to see how it goes.
"But today, it’s very complicated to know."
Everton signed Josh King from Bournemouth on deadline day at the start of the month, on a deal until the end of the season.

Juventus refuse to give up on their academy product Moise Kean. Sold to Everton in 2019, possibly for economic reasons, the Old Lady seems to be regretting the decision as they proactively chase the Italian striker.
The Bianconeri are in the middle of a huge rebuild as manager Andrea Pirlo hopes to form a young core and eventually replace the players who are in the twilight of their careers. The premature Champions League exit definitely put a big dent in their season aspirations.
There is talk about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future in Turin with a return to Real Madrid not ruled out. Juve are determined to keep the Portuguese star, but the 34-year-old wants the Serie A giants to sign attacking reinforcements. According to Football Italia, Everton striker Kean and Argentina international Sergio Aguero are on top of the Old Lady’s shortlist. Aguero is set to become a free agent if Man City do not renew his deal whereas the Kean operation could be very complicated.
Everton loaned the Italian striker to PSG at the start of this season on a dry loan but the spectacular numbers posted by Kean have convinced the PSG hierarchy that he could become a huge asset to the team. Sporting director Leonardo will have conversations with Everton regarding a permanent transfer after the season.
Juventus attempted to re-sign him on loan with an option to buy last summer but PSG won the race because back then the Toffees were reluctant to sell the 21-year-old. The situation has changed now as Everton may see this as a huge opportunity to capitalize on and prepare for a huge windfall. Kean’s desire has to be taken into consideration as well and he seems to be very happy in Paris.
Kean has reinvented himself in the French capital and evolved as a direct and dangerous striker, scoring 15 goals in 27 games for the French side in all competitions. He looks confident on the pitch and believes that he can make a difference on the pitch, something that was rarely seen when he was in the royal blue jersey.
Juventus are still hopeful that they can convince Kean to return to Turin and make him a part of the revitalized attack. The Kean valuations seem to be very confusing with earlier valuations going as high as €45-50 million while some reports suggest that the Toffees will be realistically accepting a lower price of €35 million keeping in mind the current pandemic.
Whatever the case, Juventus will have to fight hard with PSG to convince the Italian striker to return to his homeland.

Why do the papers think just because we sent him on loan to get experience that we don't want him in our own squad next season?

I can't help but feel that Moise Kean doesn't want to be at Everton.
Without doubt he's talented but I feel he doesn't want to perform the way that Everton & the Premier League expect him to.
We don't need a player who's not prepared to give his all!

He's just a lad so how can we judge what he's thinking? Everton mid table or PSG with world class players is a no contest for him.
