Brighton and Hove Albion have today sacked several groundskeepers over alleged leaked team selections during last season. Three members of the grounds team were relieved of their duties, according to the BBC, after line-ups were allegedly leaked online in October 2018, with the club fighting for survival in the Premier League. The Seagulls did indeed retain their top-flight status last season by finishing in 17th place with 36 points, but it seems the matter has infuriated the club’s hierarchy, who have taken severe action against those they feel are responsible. The BBC report that the three employees were allegedly denied disciplinary hearings or given reasons for their sackings, which took place on Friday.

If you're leaking stuff then you can't really groan if the club get shut.
Everybody wants to be an itk, but for what reason is the mystery.
