Daniel Bramall insists he is determined to “kick on next season and improve in every aspect” after signing a new one-year contract with the Blues. The 19-year-old Under-23s winger joined Everton’s Academy at the age of 14 and signed his first professional deal last year. The Sheffield-born youngster explains the support and coaching he has received since arriving at the Club has convinced him Everton is the ideal place to continue his development. “It means a lot to sign the contract,” Bramall told evertonfc.com. “When I first joined when I was 14, even from my first training session, I could tell it was a family club. “I just got on with everyone and all the staff made me feel welcome. It made me feel like I want to stay here for as long as I can. “The coaches are brilliant and I feel like I’ve progressed a lot since I’ve been here. I want to kick on next season and try to improve in every aspect.” Bramall broke into the Blues’ Under-23 side last season and is now eager to play more games for David Unsworth’s side. The teenager – who is also comfortable playing at right-back – believes his versatility is one of his key strengths. He credits Unsworth for helping to develop his all-round game, as well as for creating a positive atmosphere among the young players at the Club. “I switched positions quite a bit last season,” he explained. “Unsy is a very good coach and he’s trying to make me better on the defensive side as well as going forward. “He is a good manager but he makes the changing room and the canteen a lively place, too. He’s a good person to be around. "Next season, I just want to keep developing, play as many games as I can and impress the coaches.”
