Want to reply to articles as a guest? We are pleased to announce dates and times for our 2018/19 trials for Everton’s Regional Talent Club squads. This year’s trials will again take place at USM Finch Farm, Everton’s state-of-the-art training base, giving trialists access to top-class facilities as well as the experience of playing football at a Premier League Academy. Split over two sessions, trialilsts will be assessed on the FA Four Corner Model, including Technical, Tactical, Physical and Social footballing ability. Speaking about the RTC, Ladies’ goalkeeper Kirstie Levell said: “The RTC gives you the grounding you need to go on to play first-team football. I loved coming home from school and going there on a Tuesday and Thursday night every week, knowing I would be in a competitive environment and playing games. As you get older you start progressing onto more technical and tactical work. “The goalkeeping coaches who I had in the RTC were the first-team keepers at the time, Rachel Brown-Finnis and Danielle Hill, and it is the same now. The likes of Angharad James - who has just won our Player of the Season - coaches in the RTC now. “That really motivates you to get to where they are now and they have been there and done it and can help you do that. The RTC definitely plays a key part in a first-team player's progress." As ‘The People’s Club’ we focus not only on the footballing development of the player but the all-round development of the person. Everton Ladies RTC recruits an excellent team of qualified professional coaches whose passion is to develop future talent. With many years of experience in developing footballers, our coaches guide and mentor each player to allow them to become the best that they can be.
