Ladies Duo DepartMidfielders Lauren Davies and Emily Hollinshead have departed Everton Ladies. The pair were part of the squad that helped the Blue Girls lift the WSL 2 Spring Series title but have mutually agreed to part ways ahead of the start of the WSL 1 season starting in September. Having arrived from Manchester United’s Centre of Excellence in 2014, winger Hollinshead made her first team breakthrough a year later, making 20 appearances in 2015. She later made her Wales debut in a European Championship qualifier that year. Davies made her Everton bow in a May 2004 win over Durham, marking the occasion in stunning fashion by curling home the third goal in a 3-0 win. She has since remained in and around the side, making 10 appearances and scoring once in the 2016 WSL 2 campaign. The Club would like to thank both Emily and Lauren for their contributions to Everton and wish them the best in their future careers.
