John Lundstram

At Everton between 2002 - 2015


John is a talented left-footed midfielder with excellent passing ability.

Born in Liverpool, he has been with Everton from a very early age and signed a full-time scholarship in July 2010.

A strong tackler, the youngster was named the Blues’ Under-16 Player of the Year at the end of the 2009/10 campaign, and also received his first call up to the England Under-17s squad for the Nordic Tournament in August 2010.

He played in the Under-17s World Cup for England in the summer of 2011 and earned a first Under-19s nod in April 2012.

In February 2013, Lundstram was sent on loan to Doncaster Rovers where he won the League One title in a dramatic fashion away at Brentford in the final game of the season. Lundstram was part of the England Under 20s World Cup squad of 2013.

He joined Yeovil on loan late in 2013 in a deal which was subsequently extended until the end of the 2013/14 campaign.

But that didn't last and he instead joined Leyton Orient, missing out on promotion to the Championship after penalty shootout in the play-off final.

John's contract wasn't renewed and he left Everton at the end of the 2014-15 season.

On 13th August 2015, Lundstram signed for League Two side Oxford United on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year.

Lundstram joined Sheffield United in July 2017 on a three-year deal. On 28 April he gained promotion with United to the Premier League. Lundstram has now scored in each of England's top four divisios.
