Highly regarded by the coaching staff and players, Isabella "Issy" Hobson is a promising young defender with a bright future ahead.

Having trained with the senior squad in her early teenage years, Hobson was presented with an opportunity to make her senior debut in the League Cup against Leicester City in January 2024.

Less than two months later, the Everton Academy graduate came off the bench for her Women's Super League debut against Manchester City in March 2024. At 16 years and 123 days old, Hobson became the youngest league debutant in almost 14 years, since Nikita Parris in May 2010.

The following month, Hobson made history again as she came off the bench to head home an equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal in April 2024. In the process, Hobson became the youngest-ever goalscorer in the Women's Super League era at just 16 years and 180 days old.
