At Everton from academy to 2022
Centre of Excellence graduate who missed most of the 2013 Women's Super League campaign through injury.
Now fully fit, Turner has nailed down a regular place in the Everton team.
She was rewarded for a strong 2014 season and a blistering start to the 2015 campaign by being named Ladies' Player of the Season at Everton's Annual End of Season Awards.
One of the quickest players around, Turner has international experience with both the England Under-19s and Under-23s.
On 14th August 2017, it was announced Dan had signed a professional contract with Everton Ladies.
Dan took over from Michelle Hinnigan as Captain of Everton Ladies on 21st September 2017 and is the current club captain.
On 11th June 2020, Everton announced that Turner had signed a new two-year contract with Everton, committing her future to the Blues until the end of June 2022.
After a great 2019-20 campaign, she was awarded Everton Women 'Player of the Season'.
On Friday 24th June 2022, Everton announced that Danielle would be leaving the club at the end of her contract, having given 15 years of fine service.
“I think I’ve felt every emotion possible in the past couple of weeks,” said Danielle. “There’s a great deal of sadness when you’ve been at a club for 15 years and spent half of your life there. It’s always going to be difficult to say goodbye. This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make and everyone knows how much this club means to me."
