Lookman was born in Wandsworth, south west London, and learned his football trade at local junior club Waterloo FC before being snapped up by Charlton’s Academy in summer 2014.

A skilful and direct winger, he swiftly moved through the Addicks’ Under-18 and development sides (17 goals in 28 games for the U18s in 2014/15) before earning a senior debut in November 2015 a couple of weeks after his 18th birthday.

His maiden senior goal came a month later when he notched in a 3-2 defeat at Brighton but he would remain a regular all season and finished the campaign with five goals. Despite Charlton being relegated from the Championship that season, Lookman was named the EFL Championship Apprentice of the Year that season.

The good news continued for Lookman as he was called up to the England Under-19 squad for the European Championships where Jonjoe Kenny was a teammate.

Lookman continued to impress in League One where he was increasingly the main focus of his side’s attacking threat.

He had registered on seven occasions before the Blues swooped to bring him to Goodison Park.

On Sunday 11th Jone 2017, Ademola won the u20 World Cup beating Venezuala 1-0 in the final.

On Wednesday 31st January 2018 Ademola Lookman joined RB Leipzig on loan for the rest of the season.

In 2018-19 he played 24 times in all competitions under manager Marco Silva, starting six games and scoring once.

Ademola officially left Everton on 25th July 2019 to return permanently to RB Leipzig. The following season, he returned to the Premier League on a season long loan with Fulham, for the duration of the 2020-21 campaign.

The following season he was loaned out to Leicester for the 2021-22 campaign, and in February 2022 *switched international allegiance, to that of Nigeria, having Nigerian parents.

Good luck from all at Love Everton Forum.
