At Everton between 2018 - 2021


England Under-23s International Abbey-Leigh Stringer arrived at Everton from Birmingham City in the summer of 2018.

The Nuneaton-born midfielder begun her career with the Midlands side, enjoying a loan spell at neighbours Aston Villa in 2015.

She helped Birmingham reach the finals of both of the Continental Cup and FA Women's Cup during her time with City, before linking up with Everton.

With England, she has represented the Lionesses at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-20 level, and reached the final of the European Under-19 Championships in 2013.

She made her Blue Girls debut in the Continental Cup tie at Durham.

On Tuesday 27th July 2021, Everton announced that Abbey had left the club to join West Ham United. The Club would like to thank Abbey-Leigh for her hard work and commitment during her time with Everton and wish her well for the future.
