Is it?
Our current form and slide down the league doesn't bode well. Teams below us are picking up points and to my mind we haven't the bottle or nouse to be successful in a relegation battle.
Guaye will be off to the ACN, leaving a never fit Mcarthy alongside a geriatric Barry in our engine room Lukaku looks if not scoring uninterested. An aging backline which has developed more holes than my heavily worn Y fronts (joking i prefer boxer shorts) 2 dodgy keepers and a raft of potentially talented youngsters who will never ever be given their chance and a run in the 1st team.
So when you are munching your sprouts and quaffing your ale at the week-end , spare a thought of our over paid , complacent , spineless players who may come May will be perusing a map to find out where the teams they will be playing against next season are located.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Only the fact that there are some very poor teams do mid table clubs survive, and I say mid table, as that is the standard we have been for the past 2 or 3 years. We pick up enough points throughout the season, but we're just drifting.

Sunderland won't go down with Moyes I don't think, and if Palace sign Allardyce then they are likely going to move up the table given the players they have. So I think Hull and Burnley will go down, and probably Swansea or Boro. Everton are too good to go down, but then I thought Aston Villa were too.
