It appears that the U23's are creating chances for Niasse, maybe it should be some of those creative players that need to be given a chance as from my point of view it wouldnt make a difference who played up front as we are not creating anything. Bolasie flatters to deceive and Koeman can't make up his mind who to play on the other side. There is very little being created through the middle of the park and everything is slow and pedestrian.....just like watching the same players under Martinez. I think that given time Koeman will make a lot of beneficial changes, both in personnel and in the style we play, but in the meantime guys like Dowell and Davies surely deserve a chance to show what they can do. As an aside surely either one of Funes Mori and or Holgate deserve a chance as some of the goals and chances we are giving away are lamentable. It's a good point about service, but I think Lukaku could do a lot more to help himself. Naismith had wonderful movement, as did Andy Johnson, but what I see from Lukaku is a player who can't play with his back to goal, or hold a ball up. His control is terrible for a pro player. He's at his best when he's running at players, but all too often he sits on the defensive line waiting for a pass, and constantly flagged offside, although that's improved slightly. I'd like to see him play much nearer the midfield line, and run at players with the ball. There's quite a few u23 players I'd risk right now.

Hopefully he'll start scoring again, especially with the run of games we have coming up, at home in particular. Maybe that being the case it would get the crowd involved and make Goodison the hostile environment we all know it can be.

His movement is next to none. I think all over our movement is dire. Possibly that is what letting Barkley etc. down , they look up and all they see are statues.

About Niasse, he's scoring goals but is he playing well as I read that he looked crap other than the goals but I don't watch the kids.
