I don't think Niasse is the answer. I remember him falling over the ball in a pre-season. He was ridiculed from all sections of the ground when he made any kind of appearance last year, and he is simply not good enough and certainly no better than anyone currently being picked. The current batch are, as we all know, massively underperforming and look totally devoid of commitment, leadership, guidance or plan. This must come down to the manager. Yes, it's early days in his reign but is he really the right person for the job? Youra Klott over the park seemed to get the RS playing better with the bunch of mediocre players he had.

If he had a bad spell he's capable of a good one. The current lot are having their own bad spell but I don't see Koeman sending them to the 23 team. Hypocritical isn't in it.

He's only playing against kids so I wouldn't be too confident. I'd rather have him loaned out to a Prem side and see how he does then.

It appears that the U23's are creating chances for Niasse, maybe it should be some of those creative players that need to be given a chance as from my point of view it wouldnt make a difference who played up front as we are not creating anything. Bolasie flatters to deceive and Koeman can't make up his mind who to play on the other side. There is very little being created through the middle of the park and everything is slow and pedestrian.....just like watching the same players under Martinez. I think that given time Koeman will make a lot of beneficial changes, both in personnel and in the style we play, but in the meantime guys like Dowell and Davies surely deserve a chance to show what they can do. As an aside surely either one of Funes Mori and or Holgate deserve a chance as some of the goals and chances we are giving away are lamentable.
