Everton U18s extend unbeaten streak to nine games with 2-0 win over SunderlandJack Kiersey and Daniel Bramall both got on the scoresheetEverton U18's moved on to nine games unbeaten on Saturday with a 2-0 win away to Sunderland. Kevin Sheedy's side have now moved up to fifth place in the U18 Premier League table - one point behind Blackburn Rovers but having played one game more. Two goals in a minute in the first half were enough to secure all three points for Everton. Midfielder Jack Kiersey opened the scoring in the 35th minute before Daniel Bramall added a second shortly after, cutting in from the left and driving a low shot in at the near post. That win was the young Blues' first victory since October 22, following two draws with Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion. However, Everton U18s are now nine games unbeaten in the league - recovering well from losing the first three matches of the season to Newcastle, Man City and Manchester United. Next up, Kevin Sheedy's side will face Manchester City - who are unbeaten all 10 of their fixtures this season and beat the Blues 3-1 at Finch Farm back in August. Liv Echo
