you beat me to it lol. would love to have rhodes at everton. we were in for him last year to so I really hope we get him this time. the bookies are rarely wrong so we can be confident on it if he is at such low odds. GET IN !!!

He is exactly the player for us but his price might be a little heavy for a player unproven at this level. Charlie Austin was another from the Championship who had impressed but signed for QPR. Danny Ings another. Any of these would be good risks as long as they were reasonably priced but Rhodes and Ings already live up this way so might not have to uproot.

He is the domestic player that the fans want and if we are interested in him then surely he would be interested in us too tho not yet seen anything specifically linking him to us. Maybe tomorrow we'll know more.

I don't think we will spend much money now and Rhodes wouldn't be in our price range unless we sell somebody. Martinez has inferred any business will be at the end of the window so maybe the leaks about Baines signing is just a ploy to make other clubs buy him quicker.
