Hamburg midfielder Tomas Rincon

Everton are being linked to Hamburg midfielder Tomas Rincon by SkySports today.



The Venezuelan international is out of contract at the German club in the summer and so far a new deal seems a long way off. Rincon can play as a defensive midfielder or a right back and has 42 caps for his country.



Rincon has played 7 times for his club this year in the league scoring 2 goals and is attracting interest from Fulham, Swansea and West Brom aswell as a host of clubs in China.



John Sorzano the players lawyer has confirmed that the Premier league is the preferred destination for the midfielder and will expect the player to move in January, he said: “Tomas has long admired the Premier League and it’s no secret that several clubs have confirmed their interest so we expect to make a more informed decision in the coming weeks,” Sorzano told Sky Sports.



As the player is out of contract in the summer, Hamburg are now ready to listen to offers rather than risk losing him for free in the summer.
