Everton are joint favourites to sign Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro in the January transfer window, according the latest bookmakers’ odds. BetVictor have the Toffees and La Liga side Valencia priced as 4/1 favourites to snap up Gameiro, 30, next month after the Mirror reported that a £20million price tag has been slapped on the France international’s head. Newcastle (6/1) and Tottenham (6/1) are also in the running to snap up Gameiro next month, who could potentially find himself forced down the pecking order at Atletico Madrid once Diego Costa makes his way back to Spain when he eventually leaves Chelsea. Can you see him leaving Spain for Everton after the success of Ramirez? Many of these rumours are just paper talk tbh.

Sam Allardyce is unlikely to let Sandro Ramirez and James McCarthy leave Everton in January, despite other teams wanting to sign them in January, according to a report.
The Daily Mail claims that Allardyce was impressed by the pair when watching them play in a behind closed doors match on Tuesday.
Ramirez is being pursued by Malaga and Valencia, while McCarthy is attracting the interest of Crystal Palace.

Charlton have dismissed claims that star defender Ezri Konsa could move to Everton when the transfer window opens in January, writes Ben Kosky.
Konsa, who was the Addicks’ Young Player of the Year in his debut season, has attracted attention after featuring in England’s under-20 World Cup success earlier this year.
Merseyside media outlets reported that Everton dispatched chief scout Martyn Glover to watch the 20-year-old defender in action for Charlton at Ewood Park last weekend.
However, Charlton manager Karl Robinson says he is unaware of any interest in Konsa from his Toffees counterpart Sam Allardyce.

All the big teams are after him, and I mean in Europe from Barcelona to PSG so we've no chance.
