Leicester City invited to face Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Celtic at International Champions CupThe Foxes currently lead the race for the title, sitting five points clear of Tottenham Hotspur in second place. They have seven games left to play, and in their current form, Claudio Ranieri’s men look on course to lift the Premier League trophy come the end of the campaign. With the Midlands side challenging England’s biggest clubs this year, they have been invited to take part in the prestigious International Champions Cup this summer. The friendly tournament features Europe’s most successful sides, with the Foxes set to face off against Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Celtic, with the games taking place in three different countries. Leicester will travel to Los Angeles, Stockholm and Glasgow for their three fixtures, as they prepare for the 2016/17 Premier League season. The Foxes are joined in the 2016 edition of the International Champions Cup by Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Chelsea. Isn't it wise to wait until the end of the season before calling teams champions? That was my first thought, so maybe they just call it that. I would be made up if they won it but there's a long way to go and the teams around them all have huge experience in dealing with the run in.
