Transfer news: Everton are chasing Wycombe defender Kortney Hause
Sky Sports understands Everton are eyeing a move for highly-rated Wycombe defender Kortney Hause.
Hause has been earning rave reviews for Wycombe this season with the 18-year-old regarded as one of the best young players in the Football League.
The central defender was a product of the West Ham youth system before leaving for Wycombe in February 2012.
Hause broke into the Wycombe first team at the age of 17 and made 11 appearances last term for Gareth Ainsworth's side.
The talented stopper has established himself as a first-team regular this season and scouts have been flocking to Adams Park to watch him in action this year.
The likes of West Brom, Huddersfield and Blackpool have all been credited with an interest in Hause, but Everton are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by making a move for the defender.
Hause is currently recovering from an ankle injury, but is expected to be back in action before Christmas and Wycombe are bracing themselves for offers for their prized asset when the transfer window reopens in January.

How come West Ham let him go? Might have improved vastly since then!!!! I've never heard of him other than recent news articles linking us with him but if he signs for us it would surely be an investment for the future and not with a view to first team football.
