Young midfield duo Ryan Ledson and Liam Walsh have extended their loan spells with Cambridge United and Yeovil Town respectively by a further month. Ledson initially joined the U’s at the beginning of December and has made 14 appearances for the League Two outfit so far. The 18-year-old made an instant impression with a Man of the Match display on his debut and has helped Shaun Derry’s side become promotion contenders. Similarly, after a productive month, Walsh’s temporary stay at Huish Park has been extended. The Huyton-born youngster has made six appearances for the Glovers, helping them climb off the foot of the League Two table. He also scored his first ever professional goal in the 2-2 draw with Luton Town earlier this month.

I thought Ledson was older than that. It just goes to show.
