Liam Walsh helped Yeovil Town to a vital 2-1 home win against Crawley this weekend, a triumph which sees the Glovers climb off the foot of the League Two table and out of the relegation zone. The young Blues midfielder was cautioned during the contest, before being substituted in the closing minutes with the win almost in the bag. In the Championship, Luke Garbutt played 90 minutes at left-back for Fulham, but could not prevent the Cottagers from slipping to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Hull City. Slaviša Jokanović’s side stay 19th in the table after the loss as high-flying Hull moved to top of England’s second tier. A division below, in League One, teammates David Henen and Conor Grant became opponents for the afternoon as Henen’s Fleetwood played out a goalless draw with Grant’s Doncaster Rovers at Highbury Stadium. Grant played 90 minutes - and was booked - for Rovers, where Henen managed 61 minutes before being substituted on his return from a minor injury. The share of the spoils means Rovers stay 12th and the Cod Army slip into the relegation places. In League Two, Ryan Ledson played 71 minutes before being substituted, with the U’s snatching a last-gasp equaliser to snatch a 1-1 draw at home to Hartlepool United. Striker Delial Brewster played in Stockport County’s scoreless draw against Gloucester - but has since returned to Finch Farm following the completion of his loan spell with the Vanarama National League North side. Tyrone Duffus impressed with a lively performance but his Skelmersdale United side were defeated 3-1 at Stourbridge on Saturday. The teenager, who turns 19 on Wednesday, could again play tonight (Tuesday) when the Evo-Stik Leaug Northern Premier outfit travel to Ramsbottom United. New signing Shani Tarashaj, who is currently back on loan with Swiss outfit Grasshoppers to complete his national service, returns to competitive action on 6 February.
