Everton forward David Henen has extended his loan with League One side Fleetwood Town until the end of the season. The summer recruit, who spent a successful 2014/15 campaign on loan with David Unsworth’s Under-21s side, was due to return to the Blues this month but has since extended his stay after impressing at Highbury Stadium. The 19-year-old recently picked up a minor injury which will be treated by Everton’s medical staff, but the young Belgian will continue to train with the Cod Army. Henen has so far made seven appearances for Fleetwood, scoring his first and only goal to date for the club in the 5-1 demolition of Swindon Town in November. Keep an eye evertonfc.com to track Henen’s progress during his temporary spell away from Goodison Park.
