There were mixed results for Everton’s loan players on Saturday afternoon. Ryan Ledson made the third appearance of his spell with Cambridge United and he helped the League Two club beat Notts County 3-1. Midfielder Ledson played the full game as the U’s climbed up to 14th place in the table. There was also 90 minutes of action for Conor Grant, who featured in Doncaster Rovers’ 2-2 draw at Coventry City in League One. Defender Felipe Mattioni also played at the Ricoh Arena but he was replaced on 25 minutes after suffering what appeared to be a calf injury. David Henen was another in action in the third tier, although it was a disappointing afternoon for the Belgian as Fleetwood Town were beaten 1-0 at Blackpool in the first ever League derby between the two Fylde Coast clubs. Meanwhile, Luke Garbutt was an unused substitute for Fulham who drew 1-1 at home with Preston North End in the Championship.
